Our dear friend and fellow festival guru Georgia from Livingthefestlife.com attended Innings Festival with us and as a baseball aficionado, wrote a great blog about the ballpark side of things. Check out her Innings festival blog (excerpt below) and also her in-depth interview with Ryan Dempster and Off The Mound (we’re 100% jealous!).
Wow . . . where do I even begin on this one. If you follow our site, then you know if there is one thing I love more than festivals it is baseball. Innings Festival, which takes place in Tempe Beach Park in Arizona, combines music and baseball into one epic festival weekend. There is fantastic music on the lineup (and you will be able to read more about that in our post-festival recap), but this very early morning post is about one of the aspects of Innings that makes it so unique – Ryan Dempster and his “Off The Mound” talk show that takes place two times a day on the “Left Field” stage.
This year’s Innings Festival is also known as “The one where strangers gave me lots of food.” More on that later…
Normally, my work/life schedule requires that I hit a festival and then skip town pretty quickly. In this case, I have had the opportunity to hang around Arizona for a few days – enjoying the perfect weather and reflecting on my experience at Innings Fest.
